  • Single crystal form: Mn side: transparent. Ni side: not transparent
  • Structure type: Layered, C2/m. Changing Mn/Ni ratio can modify trigonal distortion
  • Air sensitivity: stable
  • Exfoliation: very easy

H//ab: spin flop transition seen for NiPS3, which is suppressed with 5% Mn;

H//c: spin flop transition seen for MnPS3, which is suppressed with 10% Ni
